JMI Fellowship 2022 for JRF Posts
INTRODUCTION:
Jamia Millia Islamia, an institution originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in 1920 became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988. In Urdu language, Jamia means ‘University’, and Millia means ‘National’.
The story of its development from a little organization in the pre-autonomy India to a focal college situated in New Delhi-offering incorporated schooling from nursery to explore in particular regions is an adventure of devotion, conviction and vision of a group who neutralized all chances and saw it developing Step by Step. They "developed the Jamia Millia stone by stone and penance by penance," said Sarojini Naidu, the songbird of India.
