INTRODUCTION:
The Sansthan was established in fifteenth October, 1970 as an independent association enrolled under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (Act XXI of 1860) for the turn of events and advancement of Sanskrit all around the country. It is completely financed by Government of India. It capacities as a peak body for proliferation and improvement of Sanskrit and helps the Ministry of Human Resource Development in forming and carrying out different plans and plans for the advancement of Sanskrit studies. It has expected the job of a nodal body for the successful execution of different proposals made by the Sanskrit Commission set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Education in 1956 to think about the spread and improvement of Sanskrit language and instruction in the entirety of its perspectives.

The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship is initiated by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University), New Delhi. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Scholarship 2022 Scheme is primarily applicable for students studying Sanskrit/ Pali and Prakrit as a main or optional subject in any recognized Sanskrit Pathashala/ Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya/ Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya in Traditional Stream or School or College/ University in Modern Stream pursuing Purva-Madhyama (1st year)/ 9th standard, PurvaMadhyama (2nd year)/ 10th standard , Uttar Madhyama/Prak-Shastri-(2nd year)/12th standard,Shastri/B.A 1st/2nd/3rd year), Acharya/M.A(1st/2nd year), Vidyawaridhi/Ph.D or equivalent for award of Merit Scholarships under the Scheme for Development of Sanskrit Education.
Minimum percentage of marks for various categories:
General 60%
SC/ST 50%
OBC 55%
Physically Handicapped 50%
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS:
Mark sheets of the candidate’s previous qualifying examination.
Bank pass-book information where the aspirant has an account in his name.
Aadhaar card of the candidate / Category certificate of the reserved category from the appropriate authority in the name of the interested person.
