The Government of Andhra Pradesh has again announced of another plan for the government assistance of deprived groups of essential bread workers. The name of this plan is YSR Bheema Scheme. Under this plan, the coincidental death and inability protection insurance will be given to poor people and chaotic laborers of Andhra Pradesh.Another plan has been made by the government of Andhra Pradesh to give security on the accident of individuals from the groups of poor and disorderly laborers of the state. Under the YSR Bheema Scheme, insurance money will be given to the individual if the recipient passes on or endures a lasting incapacity. The primary point of launching this plan is to give help to the dispossessed groups of bread workers of the family on the off chance that if the relative kicked the bucket or turned out to be for all time debilitated. Around 1.14 crore families will get the advantage of this plan.

YSR Bima Scheme


Features of the YSR Bima Scheme:

All unorganised workers in the State in the age group of 18 to 70 years are eligible to be registered as unorganised workers and enrolled as beneficiaries of the YSR Bima Scheme.

All unorganised workers will be registered under the Unorganised Workers Social Security Act, 2008 and enrolled as beneficiaries under YSR Bima Scheme.

SERP shall facilitate registration of unorganised workers and their enrollment in the YSR Bima Scheme, data entry, maintenance of data base, hard copies of signed applications and other connected matters.

Partner Labor Officer of the Labor Department will be the Registering Authority.

The enlisted disorderly laborers will be selected as individuals under State Accident Death and Disability Scheme and under Aam Admi Bima Yojana (AABY) and will likewise be covered under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).

Rs. 5 lakh for Accident Death and Total Disability: Rs. 2,25,000/- (Rupees two lakh twenty five thousand) from State Accident Death and Disability Scheme, Rs.75,000/- (Rupees seventy five thousand) under Aam Admi Bima Yojana (AABY) and Rs.2,00,000/- (Rupees two lakh) from Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).

Up to Rs.3,62,500/- for Partial Disability: Up to Rs.2,25,000/- (Rupees two lakh twenty five thousand) from State Accident Death and Disability Scheme, Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh) from PMSBY and Rs.37,500 from AABY.

Rs.30,000/- for Natural Death under Aam Admi Bima Yojana (AABY).

Rs.1200/- p.a. towards scholarship per child up to two children of the beneficiary studying 9th, 10th, Intermediate or ITI.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on few days before officially re-dispatched the YSR Bima scheme with new rules, where the government itself will straightforwardly pay the insurance money to the family of the expired to make the insurance claims simpler. The State government has allotted ₹750 crore for the plan for the year 2021-22.

Over the most recent two years, the state government had burned through ₹1,307 crore for the plan.
